The Grounded Glow

The Grounded Glow’s “Grounded Gatherings” are intimate circles held in my private home in northwest Gainesville, Florida.

Ranging from 90 minutes to half-day retreats, these meetups carry different themes and generally combine gentle movement, guided meditation, journal prompts and discussion. I also offer teachings on various topics including the seasons and Wheel of the Year.

Are Grounded Gatherings right for me?

Grounded Gatherings might be a fit for you if you:

  • Are on a path of personal growth and connecting to something larger than yourself.
  • Enjoy meeting new people and exploring local community connections but often feel out of place or overlooked at traditional gatherings or events.
  • Tend to get more out of get-togethers where the conversation runs deep and thoughtful.
  • Are in a transition phase of your life.
  • Desire to slow down, tune into your intuition, and nurture your body and spirit.
  • Enjoy lightheartedness, laughter and whimsy as much as you appreciate depth and healing.

We gather indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather. You may choose to sit either on a provided floor cushion or a regular chair or sofa.

Our next gathering

The next Grounded Glow gathering (date and time TBA) will be a 90-minute circle that includes:

  • A welcome to the circle: Brief introductions and whimsical improv-style games to get us all smiling and relaxed
  • An invitation to gentle movement
  • A soothing guided meditation
  • A short teaching by me related to the season / the Wheel of the Year
  • Journal prompt and discussion
  • Oracle card pull for a message for each participant
  • Closing ritual

I gratefully accept an energy exchange of $33 for this circle.

A carpooling / environmental thank-you: If you and one or more friends arrive in the same vehicle, each woman in the same carpooling arrangement will receive a $5 credit upon arrival (Venmo or cash). This applies to Uber or Lyft too.
