About Tiffini

I began teaching yoga in South Florida in 2012 after earning my certification in the Sivananda tradition. I have taught yoga in Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Riverview and St. Petersburg. In 2014, I discovered my gift for energy healing. In 2018, I received my Level 2 reiki attunement in the Usui tradition and began offering formal energy healing services.
In 2021, I launched and led a series of workshops that combined gentle movement, guided meditation, writing and discussion. My offerings were part of the curriculum at the Metta Center, Roots to Crown and The Collective in St. Petersburg, Florida.
My background includes serving as a writer and editor for news outlets and teaching journalism and writing at the college level. I have taught at the University of Tampa, University of Florida, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida and Eckerd College.
Simultaneous to my corporate career, I have been on a spiritual path since 2006. My partner and I moved to beautiful Gainesville in 2024. It was a return for me. I attended graduate school for journalism at UF in the 1990s.
In each of the gatherings I host, some the themes I explore include:
- Learning to trust your knowing — recognizing what’s real vs. performative, honoring our gut even when logic argues otherwise, trusting the body’s wisdom.
- Understanding patterns and breaking cycles — seeing how the past shaped us, doing the grief work, reclaiming what was lost.
- Navigating transitions — vocational and purpose shifts, identity changes, finding one’s calling and mission in midlife and beyond.
- Choosing sustainable pace over intensity — weaving instead of chasing, building slowly, trusting the steady work.
- Finding real belonging — creating community, understanding what home actually means, building authentic connection.
- Clarifying what matters — depth over display, legacy over urgency, the long view.
